Man and woman rescued from 16 foot Dinghy off Deganwy

The boat had suffered engine failure and had been driven aground by force 6 winds and a tide swell of 1.5 metres.

The RNLI volunteer crew launched the Lifeboat at 6.50pm following a call on his mobile phone by the owner, from Manchester, to Holyhead Coastguard.

By 7pm the lifeboat crew had secured and towed the dinghy back to the Beacons Jetty where they put it ashore and loaded it onto it’s trailer.

The Conwy lifeboat returned to the boathouse.
